JCI Cosmopolis organized the JCI Wednesday club networking event on last Wednesday. Many times we have met in restaurants or bars, but this time we got to enjoy the atmosphere of over 120 years old house just next to Töölönlahti bay. At the Art Café Taideterassi, you can enjoy art made by the owners, two artist brothers.

This time our main speaker was from the city of Helsinki. Mr. Jochen Faugel introduced us the Spouse Program. A program to help international spouse talents to integrate into Finnish society. Perhaps you have had an international colleague, but have you ever thought, what is your colleague’s better half doing during daytime? The greatest obstacle seems to be, that if the spouse doesn’t integrate, the couple will leave to another country in few years. And we don’t want that, do we?

The secret for integration is professional, social and cultural networks. We discussed with Jochen, how JCI could utilize our network to support these international talents in integrating to our lovely society. We have talents from almost 150 different fields. Surely, we can find a way to share our knowledge to those in need? Sharing is caring, right?
